TRAUMA-INFORMED ASSESMENTS AND INTERVENTION
Pioneering Connections, LLC offers evidence-based, trauma informed assessments and interventions to youth and adults that identify reactions and behaviors that are connected to traumatic experiences. The assessment results are then used to develop treatment goals with measurable objectives designed to reduce the negative effects of trauma. Trauma specific standardized assessments include the Developmental Audit, Strengths Based Assessment, Sensory-based assessment, and the PTSD Evaluation Scale (pre-and post-intervention assessment tool).
In addition to assessments, Pioneering Connections, LLC offers Structured Sensory Interventions (SITCAP) to youth and adults. SITCAP is an evidenced-based program for youth who have experienced trauma, have been adjudicated or are at-risk. This program provides effective trauma specific interventions that support the needs of youth that have been exposed to various traumatic incidents and suffer from PTSD.
EMOTIONAL EMANCIPATION CIRCLES

In conjunction with the Community Healing Network, Inc., (CHN), and the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi), Pioneering Connections, LLC offers Emotional Emancipation Circles designed to help people of African descent find freedom from the emotional legacies of enslavement and racism. EE Circlesâ„ are inspired by the self-help movement and grounded in the principles of Ma’at, the ancient Egyptian understanding of the fundamental order of the universe.
